Greening Our World, One Sapling at a Time
At Samvedna Charitable Trust, we firmly believe that caring for our environment is as vital as caring for people. Our Tree Plantation initiative brings communities together to fight climate change, restore green cover, and create a healthier planet for future generations.
Every year, we organise large-scale plantation drives across urban parks, school campuses, roadsides, and water catchment zones. Each drive is carefully planned — from selecting hardy, locally-suited saplings to identifying the most impactful locations where greenery is scarce and the need is greatest.
Our dedicated volunteers receive hands-on training in proper planting techniques, soil preparation, and post-planting care. We don't just plant and leave — our follow-up teams monitor each tree's growth, replace non-surviving saplings, and educate local residents on the value of protecting green cover.
With over 3,00,000 trees planted and counting, our Green Legacy programme is transforming neighbourhoods, improving air quality, and inspiring a new generation of environmental stewards. We invite schools, corporates, and individuals to join us in making India greener, one sapling at a time.
